FAQs

Answers to the most common questions about working with TechTree.

Getting Started

chevron-rightWho can become a Talent Partner?hashtag

Talent Partners are typically:

  • Recruiters (agency or freelance)

  • Operators with strong LinkedIn networks

  • Domain specialists with access to relevant talent

You don’t need to be a full-time recruiter — but you do need to act professionally and responsibly.

chevron-rightIs there a minimum time commitment?hashtag

No.

Most active Talent Partners spend:

  • 1–3 hours per week

You can scale activity up or down at any time.

chevron-rightCan I pause or stop whenever I want?hashtag

Yes.

There are no lock-ins:

  • You can pause outreach

  • Stop working temporarily

  • Or leave the programme entirely

You’ll still be paid for any earned fees.

Roles & candidates

chevron-rightAre the roles on TechTree real?hashtag

Every role:

  • Is actively hiring

  • Has budget and process confirmed

  • Is being worked by TechTree directly

If a role is live, it’s real.

chevron-rightCan I work on any role I see?hashtag

Yes — but you’ll perform best if you:

  • Focus on roles aligned to your network

  • Avoid stretching into unfamiliar seniority or geography

Quality beats volume every time.

chevron-rightWhat happens if two Talent Partners submit the same candidate?hashtag

The system prevents this.

Rules:

  • The first Talent Partner to submit an engaged candidate owns them

  • Ownership lasts 12 months

  • Duplicate submissions are blocked by design

This is enforced automatically. You’ll still be paid for any earned fees. You can scale activity up or down at any time.

You still get paid.

Ownership applies:

  • For 12 months

  • Even if the process restarts later

  • Client introduction

All contributions are tracked and combined.Exact amounts depend on role and fee structure.

  • Conduct screening calls on behalf of TechTree

In those cases, you must use an approved TechTree title (e.g. Talent Partner, Consultant).

chevron-rightWhat happens if I break the rules?hashtag

Serious breaches (e.g. impersonation, misuse of data, misleading candidates) may result in immediate termination.

We prefer early conversations over enforcement — ask if unsure.

We fix issues fast — accuracy matters.

chevron-rightCan I give feedback on the product?hashtag

Yes — and please do.

TechTree is still evolving. Your feedback directly shapes:

TechTree works best when:

  • Expectations are clear

If something feels off:

  • Pause

  • Ask

  • Escalate early
