I’m Laurence, one of the co-founders of TechTree.

Alongside me, Julia and the wider team will be your main points of contact as a Talent Partner — supporting you, answering questions, and improving the platform based on your feedback.

We run live onboarding sessions regularly, but this Wiki exists so you can:

  • Move at your own pace

  • Come back to things later

  • Avoid guessing how things work


Why TechTree exists

TechTree started nearly 7 years ago with a simple belief:

Recruiters spend far too much time on research and admin — and not enough time doing what humans are actually good at.

So we built a deep data + AI layer that does the heavy lifting:

  • Market mapping

  • Candidate discovery

  • Signal detection (fit, relevance, likelihood to move)

Under the hood, TechTree combines:

  • LinkedIn-scale people data

  • Company, funding, headcount, and growth data

  • Hundreds of enrichments (education quality, company stage, skill signals, career velocity, etc.)

On top of that sits our AI:

  • It ingests a client’s brief

  • Builds a full market map automatically

  • Shortlists candidates based on relevance, fit, and movement likelihood

This work used to take recruiters days or weeks. Now it takes minutes.
