Your role
Title: Talent Partner Relationship: Independent Contractor
Your responsibilities may include:
Candidate outreach and engagement
Screening interviews
Submitting candidates into TechTree
Communicating with the TechTree team about process or system issues
You’re expected to act professionally, honestly, and with integrity at all times.
Flexibility & time commitment
There are no fixed working hours
You must have sufficient availability to:
Engage candidates
Attend scheduled screening calls
If you’re unexpectedly unavailable:
Notify the TechTree team
Reschedule candidate commitments
Professional representation (important)
If you are:
Using automated outreach and/or
Conducting screening calls on behalf of TechTree
Your professional profiles used for this work must clearly show your association with TechTree.
Approved titles only:
Talent Partner
Consultant
Talent Advisor
Advisor
Member
You must not:
Use misleading titles
Represent yourself as acting independently on TechTree work
Create confusion for candidates or clients
Failure to comply may result in immediate termination.
Automated outreach consent
If you choose to connect your account for automation, you acknowledge that TechTree may:
Create outreach message sequences
Send messages from your social media profiles
Respond to engaged candidates on your behalf
Automation is:
Fully explained during onboarding
Optional
Pausable at any time
Confidentiality
You must not disclose or misuse confidential information relating to:
TechTree
Clients
Candidates
This obligation applies during and after your engagement.
Upon termination, confidential materials must be returned or deleted as instructed.
Data protection
TechTree processes personal data in line with:
The Data Protection Act 1998
Applicable UK and EU regulations
You consent to:
Processing of personal data (including sensitive data where required)
Transfer of data within or outside the EEA where necessary for business operations
You must keep your personal details (including bank details) up to date.
Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement at any time with written notice.
Immediate termination may occur in cases of gross misconduct, including:
Fraud or falsification of records
Harassment or inappropriate social media use
Serious negligence or misconduct
Outstanding payments may be adjusted for any sums owed.
Post-termination restrictions (6 months)
To protect TechTree’s business:
No soliciting TechTree clients you worked with
No poaching TechTree employees
You are not restricted from:
Working as an agency recruiter
Working in-house
Unless you’d be working directly or indirectly for a TechTree client you collaborated with during your engagement.
Changes to terms
TechTree may make reasonable changes to the agreement:
Minor changes via general notice
Material changes with one month’s written notice
Governing law
The agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Digital acceptance
The agreement and any updates may be accepted digitally. Electronic confirmation is legally binding and enforceable.
